A tradition of nurturing, fun, and family leadership that spans nearly a century.
Since its founding at the turn of the century, Lake Greeley Camp has provided a summer home for children between the ages of 6 to 15. While styles have changed over the years, our commitment to providing a nurturing environment where children thrive remains constant.
We embrace our near 100-year history while continuously evolving. Through sustained facility improvements and innovative programming, Lake Greeley Camp ensures its place as one of the finest in summer camping.
Purchased by Mike and Arline Buynak in 1959, the camp has been a family affair for over 45 years. That same individual attention and love for children continues today with their son, Matthew, and his wife, Rosemary.
Matt has spent every summer of his life at camp—as a camper, counselor, activity supervisor, and even a dishwasher. These varied experiences provided unique insights that prepared Matthew and Rosemary to take over as Directors in 1988.
For them, camping is a full-time endeavor and a family affair, having had three children attend the camp themselves. Matt and Rose are at camp every day, actively involved in ensuring every child has an experience that is fun, safe, and truly amazing.
