Searching for work during the summer? Looking for a place to work that is not in an office or in a cubicle? Want to enjoy the outdoors, fresh air and be a part of a community? Then a summer job is something that you would be looking for!
Lake Greeley Camp has many jobs available during the summer that feature camp counselor positions, supervisor positions and many more in support staff roles. There are many different needs that we have and we want you to join us in giving the children who join us a great camp experience! Our success each and every summer is due in no small part to the staff who assist us. That is why we want to work with those who want to share their own experiences, their own talents and abilities with the children who attend. Read below for more information on what kinds of jobs we have for you.
Responsibilities:
The position of camp counselor at Lake Greeley Camp is a unique job that you will not find in many other fields or industries.
Our camp counselors live right in the cabin with the campers, helping to provide 24 hour supervision. Counselors become almost like big brothers or big sisters, seeing to the daily needs of the campers in their cabin and assisting in any issues that may come up in that cabin. There are a minimum of 2 counselors in every cabin with some cabins having 3.
Counselors are also the instructors, specializing in one or more activities throughout the program day at the activity sites. The activities that we have in camp are so heart and soul of the daily program. They are what the campers will sign up for and attend, and we want them to be educational as well as really fun! Campers want to learn from you and get better in these skill sets and counselors are there in order to help them along.
Benefits:
There are many benefits to working at Lake Greeley Camp. We offer a competitive salary, free room, board, laundry service, staff lounge with Internet Access through WiFi and tipping from camper parents is permitted and encouraged. In addition, we also provide FREE tuition to the children of our Senior Staff. However, perhaps the greatest benefits of working at Lake Greeley Camp are the friendships and bonds created that will, undoubtedly, last forever and span continents.
